The National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania (ANOSR) criticized the lack of response from the authorities regarding the needs of students, following recent protests in several university centers. Students are demanding the reintroduction of transport subsidies, a 90% reduction on routes, and the protection of the scholarship fund. The EDU*CUT campaign highlighted the impact of austerity on students' lives, culminating in a symbolic march to the border of Romania, where students accused the Government of measures that drive them out of the country. ANOSR has called for dialogue with the Prime Minister to address issues in education.
