Arina Sabalenka has been named the WTA Player of the Year for the second consecutive time, thanks to a remarkable 2025 season in which she dominated the women's circuit. The Belarusian player retained her title at the US Open and finished the season with a total of four tournaments won and 63 victories, reaching nine finals. She also reached the finals of the Australian Open and Roland-Garros, and qualified for the semifinals at Wimbledon. Sabalenka set a winning record, surpassing 15 million dollars in prize money.
Amanda Anisimova was named the player with the most progress, winning two WTA 1000 titles and reaching Grand Slam finals. In doubles, the team of the year was Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend, while Belinda Bencic received the Comeback of the Year award. Victoria Mboko was named the revelation of the season, reaching world number 18 at just 19 years old.
