The WTA world ranking published on Monday has not changed compared to last week, with Belarusian Arina Sabalenka maintaining the top spot, having a lead of almost 500 points over Kazakh Elena Rybakina, who is in second place. American Jessica Pegula completes the podium, being over 1,700 points behind Rybakina. In contrast, Austrian Lilli Tagger made an impressive jump of 29 places, reaching position 45, her best career ranking, after winning her first WTA title in Prague. German Tamara Korpatsch climbed 35 places, occupying the 46th position, also achieving her best career ranking, after winning the title in Hamburg. Romania still has three representatives in the top 100: Sorana Cîrstea (17th place), Jaqueline Cristian (39th place), and Gabriela Ruse (75th place). In doubles, Gabriela Ruse and Jaqueline Cristian are in the top 100, occupying the 84th and 94th places.
