Arina Sabalenka, the world ranking leader, qualified for the round of 16 at the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati, after a convincing victory against player Xinyu Wang.
The match lasted only 55 minutes, and Sabalenka demonstrated exceptional offensive play, finishing the match with a score of 6-1, 6-3. In the next round, Sabalenka will face Sara Bejlek, a player from the Czech Republic ranked 35th in the WTA rankings, who managed to defeat Ekaterina Alexandrova, the 16th seed, with a score of 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.
The round of 16 also includes interesting matches such as Keys - Wang Xiyu, Gauff - Bouzkova, and Cîrstea - Pegula. Sabalenka aims to continue her good run in this prestigious tournament.
