The use of electric vehicles (EVs) is growing globally, with leaders such as China and Norway, but Romania has dropped in the rankings due to stagnant sales.

Despite global uncertainties, the use of electric vehicles has increased, with China, Norway and the US leading the way. Romania dropped to 27th place due to stagnant sales, while other countries made progress. High costs and supply chain problems are affecting sales in Europe. However, Romania plans to increase subsidies for EVs, and charging infrastructure is expanding rapidly, with a 33% increase in public charging points.
