In the context of the fuel crisis in Russia, dealers in Moscow are facing an unprecedented demand for electric cars. Ukraine's attacks on Russian energy infrastructure have led to supply restrictions on gasoline and diesel, causing significant price increases in various regions.

Although the development of the electric vehicle market has been slowed by the size of the territory and the limited charging infrastructure, the current crisis is prompting more and more drivers to opt for electric alternatives. In the first five months of the year, sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles increased by 125%, while sales of fully electric cars rose by 19%. In June, sales accelerated, with record registrations for hybrid models.

However, charging infrastructure remains a challenge, with only 4.3% of total car sales being electric or plug-in hybrid.
