Two ministers from PNL and one from USR top the ranking of Government members’ visibility over the past week, according to data from NewsVibe, an AI platform for real-time media monitoring. The analysis covers the level of online visibility of Government members, excluding Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, whose consistently high presence would distort comparisons within the Executive. The assessment is based both on the volume of mentions and their impact, complemented by an analysis of the main discussion topics, semantic relationships, and sentiment associated with public appearances.

The ranking of Government members by visibility in the online conversation during September 10–16 is led by the interim Finance Minister, Alexandru Nazare (PNL), who was in the spotlight especially amid speculation about a possible nomination for prime minister and discussions about his chances of securing the majority of at least 233 votes required for approval. His visibility was also supported by the completion of €630 million in financing from the European Investment Bank for the modernization of the Brașov–Sighișoara railway, as well as messages about reducing inflation and the budget deficit.

Second in the ranking of Government members by visibility in the online conversation during September 10–16 was Mihai Dimian (PNL), the interim Education Minister. His visibility was supported by the announcement of measures to improve students’ skills, against the backdrop of the PISA results, including remedial classes for students with averages below 7 and a redesign of the curriculum toward the practical application of knowledge, as well as by critical debate regarding the basis for these proposals. At the same time, his appearance at the opening of the academic year in Iași, where he recited riddle-poems about the professions for which students are preparing, generated numerous online reactions and comments. Topics associated with the minister also included assurances that teachers’ salaries would be paid through the end of the year from the existing budget, as well as a request for clear recommendations for schools in the event of drone-related alerts.

In third place is Diana Buzoianu (USR), interim Environment Minister, whose visibility increased over the past week through interventions on governance and public policy issues. She announced that all milestones undertaken by the Ministry of Environment under the NRRP had been achieved, arguing that investments could transform Romania in the coming years, and criticized the scenario of a technocratic government, which she considers an unassumed political formula, calling for a return to voting. Buzoianu also accused the CNCD of failing for more than two years to resolve the complaint filed against the statements made by His Eminence Teodosie about abused women and mentioned the possibility of a criminal complaint for abuse of office. The Minister of Investments and European Projects and interim Labour Minister, Dragoș Pîslaru (PNL), occupies the last position in the ranking, having a limited presence in online debates.By comparison, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan (who is not included in the analysis) recorded more than 5,362 mentions, marking a presence in the online conversation clearly greater than that of all the other Government members combined.
