In the first session of the European Parliament in October, two motions of censure against the EC, proposed by the radical left and the far right, were rejected, thus confirming the current support for the European Commission.

On Thursday, the European Parliament voted against a motion of censure submitted by the radical left, with 133 votes in favor, 383 against, and 78 abstentions. This was the third motion of censure this year, after a similar motion from the far right was previously rejected. During the debate, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, emphasized the importance of the unity of pro-EU forces in the face of threats to the stability of the community bloc.
