The Plenary of the Chamber of Deputies voted on Wednesday against the simple motion initiated by the AUR-POT-S.O.S Romania Opposition, which calls for the dismissal of the Minister of Agriculture, Florin Barbu. The result of the vote was 187 votes against and 92 in favor, with 3 abstentions and one absent deputy. The president of AUR, George Simion, announced that next week he will present a "Black Book" of the minister's activity.
In response, Barbu criticized the lack of understanding of his record and offered to discuss agriculture with AUR members, emphasizing that he is open to dialogue. The motion, titled "When you cultivate LIES, you reap SHAME," was signed by 61 deputies and was debated in the Chamber of Deputies.
