The simple motion against the Minister of Agriculture, Florin Barbu, will be read on Monday, October 20, 2025, and put to a vote on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The AUR parliamentary group accuses him of the collapse of agriculture's contribution to GDP and a huge agricultural trade deficit, with Deputy Călin Matieră demanding his resignation for the lack of a strategy and massive imports.
