Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, states that future job opportunities with high salaries will not come from traditional offices, but from the construction of data centers, estimating global spending of 7 trillion dollars by the end of the decade. Huang emphasizes that this expansion will generate many jobs in traditional trades, such as electricians and builders, with salaries exceeding 100,000 dollars, without requiring a university degree. However, he acknowledges a shortage of skills needed for these roles, with a McKinsey report indicating the need for hundreds of thousands of skilled workers in the United States.

In contrast to Huang's optimism, other industry leaders, such as Jim Farley from Ford, warn that artificial intelligence will eliminate jobs for white-collar workers, while the educational system is not adequately preparing skilled workers for the new market demands. Farley highlights a significant shortage of workers in manufacturing and construction, which could hinder the development of the necessary infrastructure. Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, shares the same concerns, pointing out the lack of electricians as a major obstacle in building AI data centers.
