The Romanian Parliament will meet next week, between August 24 and 26, for the fourth extraordinary session of this summer, where senators and deputies will vote on important laws for accessing European funds.
Among these is the Integrity Law, which has been challenged in the Constitutional Court and will be put to a vote again, after an amendment was declared unconstitutional.
Another important law on the Parliament's agenda is the Hydrogen Law, which aims to reduce carbon emissions in industries and transport.
Additionally, there are discussions about proposals to postpone the double exam for eighth-grade students, with options for a two or four-year extension. The Biodiversity Law will also be put to a vote.
The failure to adopt these laws could lead to significant financial losses for Romania from the PNRR funds.
