Albania and the Czech Republic lead the global cybersecurity security ranking
Albania and the Czech Republic occupy the top positions in an index created by the e-Governance Academy in Estonia, which evaluates the preparedness of 155 countries and territories for preventing and managing cyber attacks. Both achieved a score of 98.33 out of 100.
The ranking places Albania ahead of some major tech economies. Germany is in 13th place, the United States in 31st, and the United Kingdom in 42nd. Smaller states such as Moldova, Jordan, and North Macedonia also appear above some economic powers, due to centralized coordination and accelerated modernization.
