Following an alarming increase in accidents involving electric scooters, Belgium will intensify inspections at stores and websites to ensure compliance with safety regulations. In the first quarter of 2025, accidents rose by 61%, with 470 cases reported. Minister Rob Beenders announced measures, including advocating for a ban on the sale of fast models at the European level.
