The Local Police of Bucharest has announced that the circulation of electric scooters, electric bicycles, hoverboards, and other motorized vehicles in the park paths is prohibited.

Controls are being carried out in the Cișmigiu, Herăstrău, Tineretului, Circului, and Carol parks, and those who violate this rule risk fines of up to 500 lei. Since the implementation of the new regulations, 175 sanctions have been applied, totaling over 30,000 lei.

Although parks may seem like a safer place for children using electric scooters, the ban applies regardless of the user's age. Authorities emphasize the importance of adhering to these rules for the safety of all visitors.
