Nemak, a Mexican company specializing in the production of aluminum automotive components, plans to enter the Romanian market by acquiring two factories from Georg Fischer, located in Pitesti and Scornicești, employing about 500 people. The move comes as the financial performance of Georg Fischer's subsidiary in Romania improved, reporting revenues of 225 million lei and losses reduced to 5 million lei. Another Georg Fischer factory in Arad is not included in the deal but is in the process of being sold.
