The largest arms manufacturer in Germany, Rheinmetall, is developing a powder factory worth 500 million euros in Romania. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan: "Romania is starting to profile itself as a player with potential in the defense industry in Southeast Europe."

The Executive's Office has shown that the future powder factory in Victoria represents an investment of half a billion euros, approximately 700 new jobs, but especially the advantage of producing powders in Romania.

"I am honored to conclude this contract signing, which is, in fact, the end of a negotiation, but the beginning of another package of important negotiations that we will carry out during the day today. With this partnership, Romania begins to profile itself as a player with potential in the defense industry in Southeast Europe. I am glad that RheinMetal sees in us an important and serious partner and strengthens its presence in Romania," said Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan at the Victoria Palace.
