The Romanian coastline is covered with thousands of blue jellyfish, scientifically named Rhizostoma Pulmo, brought in by waves and currents. Although tourists are amazed by this natural phenomenon, biologists recommend avoiding contact, as jellyfish can cause irritation. Specialists explain that these jellyfish, at the end of their life cycle, reach the shore due to a decrease in their ability to swim. It is estimated that the jellyfish will decompose slowly and will disappear by the end of October.
