On Thursday night, violent storms severely affected the south of the country, especially Călărași County, where strong winds uprooted trees, blocking the streets in Oltenița. Intervention teams were quickly mobilized to remove the fallen trees and restore traffic. The Oltenița City Hall warned citizens to drive cautiously and avoid affected areas. At the same time, on the coast of Constanța, a waterspout visible from the beach formed, a spectacular but dangerous phenomenon. The National Meteorological Administration issued orange storm warnings for several counties, including Bistrița-Năsăud, Alba, and Sibiu, warning about the risks associated with these extreme phenomena.
