On the Romanian coast, the red flag has been raised in most resorts, signaling extreme drowning danger.
Despite the warnings, tourists continue to enter the sea, and an 11-year-old girl was pulled from the waves in serious condition in Mamaia and was transported to the hospital in Constanța. Lifeguards were alerted to the child's disappearance in the water, and after searches, she was found and resuscitated. Also, in Vama Veche, a man was nearly drowned, and he was also transported to the hospital. Gabi Culea, the head of the lifeguards in Mamaia, emphasized the importance of respecting the signals, warning that the red flag indicates dangerous conditions, such as large waves and strong currents. His appeal is for tourists not to ignore these signs to avoid tragedies.
