On a beach in Năvodari, two tourists were filmed while pulling a bulky metallic object from the waves, which appears to come from a drone. The incident attracted the attention of intervention structures, considering the major risks to their safety and that of those around.

Representatives of the Emergency Situations Inspectorate emphasize that any unidentified metallic object, including drone parts, can be extremely dangerous, having explosive potential or containing toxic chemical substances. Authorities urge the population not to touch such objects and to immediately notify the authorities by calling 112.

Recently, drone fragments have been observed on the Romanian coastline, and a maritime drone with explosive payload was destroyed by an F-16 aircraft near the Neptun Deep platform. Data analysis confirmed that the destroyed drone contained explosives.
