The Ministry of Economy announced the construction of a powder factory for ammunition in the city of Victoria, Brașov, in partnership with Rheinmetall, the largest European arms manufacturer. The investment of 535 million euros will begin in 2026 and will last three years, generating 700 jobs. Minister Radu Miruță emphasized the importance of fair negotiations, obtaining favorable conditions for Romania, including a veto right over major decisions and the involvement of Romanian suppliers. This factory will ensure the necessary powder for the defense industry in Romania and throughout the region.
