The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) has issued a warning regarding a digital fraud campaign that has been resumed, aimed at manipulating users through seemingly harmless messages. Attackers send messages with a link, which appear to be related to a fake contest, such as "vote for my friend's child". MAI emphasizes that these messages contain malicious links that can lead to pages created for stealing personal data. Users who access these links risk compromising their messaging accounts and private information. The institution recommends that citizens be cautious and not access the links, even if the messages come from known numbers, as the accounts may already be compromised. MAI urges vigilance and the protection of personal data, suggesting the verification of unexpected messages and avoiding hasty actions.
