The National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) has issued a warning about a fraudulent SMS campaign, in which criminals use the identity of Ghiseul.ro to obtain personal data and card information from users. The fraudulent messages notify users about fines for speeding or for parking.

These messages are formulated to create an artificial urgency, mentioning short deadlines and threats of penalties. The included links lead to fake sites that visually imitate the official Ghișeul.ro platform, requesting identification data and complete bank card details.

DNSC recommends users not to access links from suspicious SMS messages, to check fines only on Ghișeul.ro, and to contact the bank immediately if they have provided their card details.
