On Monday, around 4 PM, a powerful explosion occurred in an apartment on the first floor of a building in the town of Insuratei, Braila County, causing panic among the residents. The deflagration, caused by the accumulation of gas from a cylinder that powered an illegal heating system, led to the destruction of several apartments and commercial spaces on the ground floor. In total, nine homes were affected, and 11 people were evacuated. Although the incident was serious, a miracle ensured that no one was injured. Residents suffered panic attacks and received medical care on-site, but it was not necessary to transport them to the hospital. The State Inspectorate for Construction will now assess the condition of the building, and ten of the affected residents will temporarily move to relatives, while one person will be accommodated in a center.
