An explosion followed by a fire occurred today in an apartment located on the ground floor of a four-story building on Versului Street in Timișoara, mobilizing ISU Timiș crews around 05:50. Firefighters quickly intervened to extinguish the flames and ventilate the stairwell affected by smoke. As a result of the incident, three adults received medical care at the scene, all of whom were conscious and cooperative. Additionally, 43 residents self-evacuated or were evacuated with the help of intervention teams. Authorities continue investigations to determine the causes that led to the explosion.
