Dominic Fritz announced that he will discuss with Ilie Bolojan and Kelemen Hunor to establish the steps of negotiations for a minority government.

Dominic Fritz, the leader of USR, announced that he will hold discussions with Ilie Bolojan, the leader of PNL, and Kelemen Hunor, the leader of UDMR, to decide the first steps in the negotiations requested by President Nicușor Dan for the formation of a minority government.

"What I can tell you is that I am in contact with both Ilie Bolojan and Kelemen Hunor and we will talk together in a first step."

Fritz emphasized that USR will not support a government formula that includes PSD, reiterating the lack of trust in this party. During the consultations, he explained that political negotiations require a minimum of trust, which is lacking in the relationship with PSD.

President Nicușor Dan mentioned, after consultations with the parties, that the option of a minority political government is taking shape, based on a prior parliamentary agreement, and emphasized the need to accelerate the process of its formation.
