Hakan Fidan, the Turkish foreign minister, stated that, at present, there are no indications that the situation in Iran could lead to the fall of the regime. He emphasized that Turkey is maintaining contacts with all parties involved to resume negotiations.

Fidan warned that the reciprocal attacks between Iran and the USA, especially the airstrikes, could escalate and affect regional and global stability. He also mentioned the importance of the Strait of Hormuz, which, if closed, could cause significant increases in energy prices. The Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, criticized the airstrikes by the USA and Israel, considering them a violation of international law, and emphasized the need to stop the conflict to avoid an economic and geopolitical crisis.
