The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic announced the expulsion of a Belarusian diplomat accused of espionage, in a case connected to an investigation in Romania regarding a former official of the Information and Security Service of Moldova. He is suspected of having disclosed secret information to the KGB of Belarus. The authorities in the Czech Republic, Romania, and Hungary collaborated to dismantle an active Belarusian information network in Europe. The suspect was detained in Romania, and the investigation continues, highlighting the importance of international cooperation in combating espionage activities.
