Romania will enter on Friday, November 28, into a new wave of atmospheric instability, with heavy rains in the south and mixed precipitation in the mountains, according to the ANM announcement. The weather will be predominantly overcast, with frequent rains in the southern half of the country, where accumulations of 10-15 l/m² are estimated, while in the hilly and mountainous areas of Oltenia and Muntenia, water quantities could reach 20-40 l/m². The wind will blow moderately, with gusts of 45-50 km/h in the southeast and up to 70-80 km/h on the mountain peaks, increasing thermal discomfort. Maximum temperatures will range between 4 and 13 degrees Celsius, while nighttime minimums will be between 1 and 11 degrees. In Bucharest, the sky will be cloudy, with temporary rains and a maximum temperature of about 8 degrees. In the mountains, instability will be heightened, with mixed precipitation and the formation of ice. The ANM has also issued a yellow code for fog for certain counties.
