The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a yellow code warning for atmospheric instability for Monday, valid in several counties across the country.
On Monday, between 12 PM and 10 PM, atmospheric instability will manifest in Maramureș, Crișana, Banat, most of Transylvania, the mountainous area, the west and northwest of Oltenia, as well as the northwest of Moldova. According to ANM, significant torrential downpours are expected, with wind intensifications of 50-70 km/h, locally exceeding 80 km/h, electrical discharges, and possible small to medium-sized hail. Rainfall amounts will be 15-25 l/m², with isolated areas exceeding 30-40 l/m². Atmospheric instability will also be present in other areas of the country. Additionally, between Monday at 10 PM and Tuesday at 10 AM, in the Southern and Curvature Carpathians, the wind will blow at speeds of 70-80 km/h, and at high altitudes, gusts will exceed 90-100 km/h. Wind intensifications will also occur in eastern Moldova, with speeds of 45-50 km/h.
