The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a first yellow warning for atmospheric instability, valid from Thursday, 10:00 AM, until Friday, 01:00 AM. The phenomena targeted include torrential downpours, electrical discharges, and intensifications of the wind, with isolated gusts that can reach 50 to 70 km/h and possible small to medium-sized hail. The affected areas are Transylvania, Muntenia, the southwest of Moldova, Dobrogea, and the Southern and Eastern Carpathians. The amounts of water can reach 20-25 l/m², and in restricted areas, up to 30-50 l/m².

A second yellow warning, targeting wind intensifications, will come into effect on Friday, August 28, from 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM, affecting Dobrogea, eastern Muntenia, and southeastern Moldova, with wind speeds of 50-70 km/h.
