Tourists who were stranded on the Tibetan slope of Mount Everest due to heavy snowfall have been successfully rescued. Nearly 580 hikers and over 300 guides took refuge in the town of Qudang. Authorities mobilized rescue teams, including horses and yaks, to assist in recovering the stranded individuals. This situation coincided with China's 'Golden Week', a peak period for tourism, but also with extreme weather phenomena in the region, including Typhoon Matmo and flooding in Nepal.
