The Minister of Energy has requested investigations following the explosion in a building in Rahova, which resulted in the death of three people. Those responsible will be held accountable.

The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, announced that he has requested investigations from ANRE, IGSU, and the gas supply company following the devastating explosion in an eight-story building in Sector 5 of the Capital, which resulted in the death of three people and the injury of another 13. Ivan emphasized that those responsible will pay dearly, regardless of their identity.

The investigation will determine whether the supply operator followed safety procedures and whether a third party intervened unauthorized to allow the gas supply. The deflagration severely affected the apartments on the upper floors and was followed by a fire. Among the victims are also two children. The Ministry of Energy is awaiting the completion of the investigation to clarify the circumstances of the tragedy.
