Explosion in Sector 5 | Authorities have launched an investigation based on two hypotheses: negligence of the building administrator, the gas company, or the intentional or unintentional mistake of one of the residents.

On Friday, a powerful explosion occurred in a residential building in Sector 5 of the Capital, causing the death of three people and injuring 20, of which 15 required hospitalization.

An investigation has been opened, based on the fact that there was a massive accumulation of gas. Authorities are investigating two hypotheses: negligence of the administrators or the gas company, or a mistake by the tenants. As of now, there are no suspects, and investigators are gathering testimonies. Representatives of the gas company and the building administrator were called for questioning last night.
