The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) of Romania has announced to Romanian citizens who are in or intend to travel to Greece that there will be a 24-hour general strike in the railway sector on Tuesday. This strike will cause significant disruptions in public railway transport, and some trains may be canceled.
MAE recommends that Romanian citizens periodically check the websites of transport companies for updated information on transport schedules. Additionally, Romanian citizens can request consular assistance at the phone numbers of the Romanian Embassy in Athens and the General Consulate in Thessaloniki, with calls being redirected to the Contact and Support Center for Romanian Citizens Abroad (CCSCRS).
