Ionuț Moșteanu, the Minister of Defense, discussed on Digi24 about the peace plan for Ukraine, calling it an 'extraordinarily good thing.' At the end of the CSAT meeting, Moșteanu emphasized that Romania supports any initiative to stop the war, stressing that the peace plan must start from the needs of Ukraine, a state affected by Russian aggression. He highlighted the importance of stability in the region, including for Moldova, and warned about the risks if Putin is not stopped.

Moșteanu also mentioned that a peace plan cannot be achieved without the involvement of Ukraine and European partners, emphasizing the need for fair guarantees for the Ukrainian people. In this context, it was also mentioned that the U.S. plan for ending the conflict has been revised, reducing the number of points from 28 to 19.
