Interim Mayor Stelian Bujduveanu announced that the European Commission has approved an allocation of 126 million lei for the rehabilitation of Bucharest's district heating system, part of the Sustainable Development Program 2021-2027. This investment, amounting to 1.76 billion lei, will reduce thermal agent losses, increase system efficiency and improve thermal comfort in apartments, with the potential to solve the capital's heating problems.
