Two people were injured on Saturday afternoon after an ambulance crashed into the fence of a property on Șoseaua Vitan-Bârzești in Bucharest. The victims were taken to hospital for medical care, while police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
According to the Traffic Brigade, the ambulance was driven by a 43-year-old man and was traveling from Splaiul Unirii toward Iuliu Hațieganu Street. In the area of property number 9A, the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, which then hit the fence of a property.
Two people were injured in the impact. They received medical care and were taken to hospital. The ambulance driver was tested with a breathalyzer, and the result was zero.
Traffic Brigade officers are continuing their investigation to establish the exact causes and circumstances of the accident. They are also examining the dynamics of the impact and the factors that led to the driver losing control of the vehicle.
