Two drivers injured in an accident in the Unirii Passage in Bucharest

Two vehicles collided on Tuesday morning, at around 5:47 a.m., in Bucharest’s Unirii Passage. As a result of the crash, both drivers were injured and taken to hospital for medical care.

According to the Traffic Police Brigade, one of the cars was traveling through the passage from Colței Street toward Mărășești Boulevard when, for reasons yet to be determined, it collided with another vehicle traveling in the same direction.

Both drivers were tested with a breathalyzer, and the results were zero. Police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact causes and circumstances of the crash.

During the on-site investigation, traffic was restricted on both lanes of the Unirii Passage, in the direction from Colței Street toward Mărășești Boulevard. No information has yet been provided about the health of the two drivers.
