The former Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, contradicts those who "loudly say that Romania has no storage," asserting that in recent evenings, "Romanian batteries, not Bulgarian ones, provide about 650 megawatts to the system, almost as much as Reactor 2 at Cernavodă." He is optimistic about the future of Romania's energy system.
"Look, especially those who loudly say that Romania has no storage at all, that last night, for example, but also tonight (Thursday night - editor's note) you will see that Romanian batteries, not Bulgarian ones, provide about 650 megawatts to the system, I saw it last night around 8:40 PM, which is almost as much as Reactor 2 at Cernavodă. These are batteries, some of them with contracts signed under the PNRR during my mandate," said former Minister Sebastian Burduja on B1 TV, Thursday night.
