Volodimir Zelenski has warned that Russia could launch a new military aggression in Belarus under the pretext of the Zapad 2025 military exercises. He emphasized that these exercises could be a cover for the redeployment of Russian troops, given that Belarus is a strategic corridor between NATO and Russia. Ukrainian army commander-in-chief Oleksandr Sirski confirmed that the exercises could facilitate the creation of offensive troop groups. Zelenski expressed concern that Russia could escalate military action in other NATO countries.
