A fire broke out at a plastic waste recycling warehouse in Mureș

A devastating fire broke out in a warehouse in the industrial area of the city of Lusuș, Mureș County, where plastic waste is being burned, causing an emergency situation. Several fire trucks have been dispatched to the scene, where they found the flames spreading over an area of approximately one thousand square meters. Firefighters are working intensively to identify the source of the fire and to limit the spread of the flames inside the warehouse.

Following the incident, a RO Alert message was issued to inform and warn the population to avoid the affected area. Only after the fire is extinguished will the intervention teams be able to investigate the probable cause of the outbreak of the fire.

This situation underscores the importance of rapid intervention in cases of fire, especially in industrial areas where the risks are higher.
