According to ISU Buzău, a fire broke out in a hall with an area of approximately 500 square meters, equipped with batteries for storing electrical energy. The facility is part of a complex with two halls, both equipped with fire detection and extinguishing systems.
The fire manifested with open flames over the entire area of the hall, and the intervention was carried out defensively, from a distance of approximately 200 meters, due to the nature of the materials and the high temperatures.
In the unoccupied adjacent hall, smoke accumulated.
Firefighters from Buzău, supported by teams from ISU Prahova and ISU Bucharest-Ilfov, mobilized six fire engines, one rescue vehicle, and one SMURD ambulance, as well as other specialized equipment.
So far, no casualties have been reported, and the leadership of ISU Buzău is coordinating the intervention.
