Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Wednesday that communication equipment in Belarus, which helped direct Russian drone attacks, has been deactivated. The announcement comes after a warning to officials in Minsk, in which Zelensky gave them a week to remove the equipment, emphasizing that otherwise, Ukraine would take action. According to Zelensky, the equipment ceased to function on June 22, but it is unclear whether it has been dismantled. This equipment, mounted on communication towers, was essential for supporting Shahed-type drone attacks. In response, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused Ukraine of aggression, and Presidents Putin and Lukashenko planned a meeting to discuss the situation.
