UK authorities have issued a warning about the fraud risks associated with concert ticket sales, particularly on social media. Damage from scams reached £1.6 million in 2024, with nearly 3,700 complaints reported. Young people in their 20s are the worst affected, accounting for 27% of victims. Officials point out that scammers take advantage of fans' excitement by posting fake offers and demanding payments by bank transfer.
