Russian President Vladimir Putin, American President Donald Trump, and Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping could meet in November at a tripartite summit on the occasion of the Asia-Pacific Cooperation Forum (APEC), according to a statement from Russian presidential advisor Yuri Ushakov.
This topic was discussed by Putin and Xi Jinping at a recent meeting in Kyrgyzstan during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. Ushakov mentioned that Xi Jinping confirmed that Donald Trump "probably" will participate in the APEC summit, and Putin was also invited.
If discussions proceed as planned, a trilateral meeting or bilateral meetings with each leader could take place.
The APEC summit is scheduled to be held in the Chinese city of Shenzhen on November 18 and 19.
