The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a prisoner exchange took place between Russia and Ukraine, with each side returning 185 soldiers. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the repatriation of the soldiers, including those who defended Mariupol and those who were deployed to Chernobyl. Additionally, 20 civilians were transferred to Moscow. Although both countries have conducted exchanges of thousands of prisoners this year, peace negotiations remain at an impasse, with opposing positions.
