The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced that, together with the Vice President of the USA, JD Vance, they are working on a plan for the "day after" in Gaza, which will include a new structure for civil governance and security.

During a meeting, Netanyahu emphasized that Israel and the United States are developing a "completely new vision" for the future of the Gaza Strip, after the conflict ends. He stated that discussions focused on organizing civil governance and ensuring security in the territory, mentioning that the plan will require considerable efforts, but he is optimistic regarding long-term stability. JD Vance, who is making his first official visit to the Middle East, was welcomed by Netanyahu upon his arrival in Jerusalem, where discussions took place about the future of the region.
