Jared Kushner discusses with Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel about the second phase of Donald Trump's Peace Plan, previously rejected.

Jared Kushner, the American envoy, began a visit to Israel on Monday, participating in a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss advancing the second phase of Donald Trump's Peace Plan in the context of the conflict in Gaza, according to AFP.

Although the Palestinian movement Hamas accepted an American roadmap for its disarmament, Netanyahu officially rejected the proposal, demanding a "true" disarmament of Hamas. Kushner insisted on the need to exclude Hamas from the governance of Gaza and called for verifiable measures for disarmament.

Meanwhile, he met with leaders from Egypt and other mediating countries, who condemned Israel's rejection of the plan.
